Schooling for children is at the heart of what we do at TFCM.
SCHOOLING FOR CHILDREN
One of our top priorities is to get children enrolled into school at an early stage, sponsoring them for nursery, primary and secondary education. Schooling is their gateway to a better future and hopefully a regular income for themselves and their families.
In Kalagi we have our own school which currently provides nursery and primary school education.
In Kawempe our sponsored children go into private schools that cover their primary and secondary school education.
All the children sponsored for schooling in both locations are from the poorest families living in the area, or are themselves orphans cared for in the Father’s Children’s House run by TFCM partners in Kalagi.
The monthly cost to sponsor a child is £20 p/m which is used to contribute to these items:
School costs
teacher and staff salaries
classroom equipment
learning materials
security
Child costs
school uniform
scholastic materials
personal hygiene items
daily hot meal and drinks.

We have already secured ongoing sponsorship for 80 Ugandan children. There are many more waiting for a sponsors. £20 a month pays for one child to attend school, that's about 80p a day!

100% of funds received into TFCM go out to Uganda each month, NONE is used for U.K operating costs.
