Stories of Hope- One year on....Making a difference, two lives at a time

Last November 2020, we posted about the mother of these newly born babies, who passed away at the age of 28 years old. Having just given birth to these twins, they were only 6 days old when she sadly passed away. The babies father would not look after them, so they were suddenly left in the care of their grandmother. Their Grandma is retired and didn’t have any finances to support the twins for whom she suddenly became a carer for. She was unable to buy any of the basic essentials needed- clothing, nappies, milk etc and was really struggling to raise these little ones. Thankfully, a TFCM supporter saw our social media page and within hours came forward to support the grandmother through TFCM’s befriend a granny scheme.

One year on, we wanted to show you what progress these two little ones have made. They are happy and healthy babies and have been able to be well nourished thanks to the Grandma’s love and support. All of this has been made possible thanks to her TFCM supporter.

This is what it is like to support and befriend a granny. It really makes such a difference and impact to people lives.

And in the case of twins…..Together we will make a difference, two lives at a time!
